- They make their selections and then check out, paying for their meals and drinks using the in-kiosk payment processing system.
- After payment, each customer gets a receipt with an order number on it.
- Behind the scenes, the order gets sent from the kiosk to a kitchen display system (KDS).
- The kitchen staff see the details of the order and begin preparing it.
- A separate collection screen displays the current received orders. They are easily identified by the receipt number.
- Customers get notified via this collection screen when their order is ready for pickup.
Finally, your customers can collect their food at the counter or window, identifying themselves with their receipts if needed.
